Trying GitHub Actions

Pico takes Markdown files and serves them as HTML. What that means is that I need to get Markdown files onto the web host whenever I write a blog post. Does that mean I have to open an FTP client every time I want to write a post? Is there a way for me to just write something and upload it over the web?

Yes, it turns out there is. GitHub to the rescue again!

I found a GitHub Action that lets me FTP the files from my Git repo to my web host. That means I can write posts either in my favorite editor or online in the Git editor. Anything that's in the appropriate directories on my Git host can be published with this action. That's pretty cool.

I hope this means I will be writing a lot more news.
