![]() Here we are at the booth. I take a picture of my booth before each show. At some point I'll have to post all the booth photos together. Maybe I'll be able to correlate sales to the appearance of the booth. This time I had more stuff to bring people in, but not enough room to arrange the booth the way I would have liked—I would have liked to angle it so that the sign pointed a little more to the left and the cartoons pointed straight ahead. So. Today: the people we saw; tomorrow: the sketches I did. ![]() Here's Elvis Stormtrooper rocking the mike. This year I had a mike so that people could say something to the world. A few people did. ![]() The famous Sad Salvation (right) and his friend whose online name I don't know (left). ![]() A couple of friends of mine dressed up in the awesome Spy vs. Spy costumes shown here. ![]() You'll see more of them later on down the page... ![]() The best Blues Brothers costume I've ever seen. ![]() The most extreme corsets I've ever seen. Look how much the hipbones of the girl on the right protrude past her waistline. ![]() Here's a good Grievous and a couple manga chicks. ![]() Spy vs. my mom and dad is what's happening here. ![]() I think this is gonna be this year's Christmas card! Anyway, that was WonderCon. It was a great show. I met a lot of great people. There are comics about what happened there gradually appearing at www.paperdummy.com so go take a look! 11:27:17(link) This Just In
If you search for wondercon 2006 photos report at Google, the very first link is Comic Book Conventions - Con Reports & Photos. When you follow that link, the first news item is "Hairstyles of WonderCon" which points to yesterday's paperdummy strip. That's fun! | |||||

| October 14, 2006 - 14:55:46 I can ask for you. I believe they made the masks out of some moldable material that's pretty specific. Please use the EMAIL link above (or below) to email me your questions, and I will pass them along to my friends who made the costumes. Peter S. Conrad |
